Rose McCormick, a painter with a long-standing resume that includes not only solo and group exhibitions throughout Portland, but also acclaimed as a curator for shows such as "Work", "Alias" and "CEID Exhibit", McCormick's work is foremost concerned with the relationship between the viewing audience and her work. Born in Columbus, Ohio (1976), educated at University of Cincinnati Rose seeks a consilience between the artist, art making, the audience and society.
